Yunoko Lake and hot spring is a refreshing destination in Nikko, Tochigi. Yunoko literally means "hot water lake."

The tranquil water and reflections were the end product to a hike through Nikko Senjogahara marsh. Even on a cloudy day, the fall colors were apparent.

A hiking path around Yunoko takes more than an hour to go around. In the area is lots of ryokans (japanese style inn). Near the lake is Yutaki Falls and a few small shops. Find more info. on the area here.
