When I visited Taichoji Temple in early October last year, I found fascinating jizo statues there. I call this temple, 'A Jizo Paradise', and when it snowed in early January this year, I revisited the temple to see my favorite jizo covered in snow. Especially, I wanted to see the jizo statues in the 'Jizo Cemetery' where broken jizo statues are casually abandoned. It's located at the foot of a bamboo grove and I thought it would look so beautiful in snow. There, I found it, a snow-buried jizo cemetery with a beautiful bamboo grove in the background! The other statues were all there too, sitting silently in the temple grounds covered in white snow. Wonderful!

Due to the snow, I couldn't get closer to these statues, so I used the zoom lens to take this photo.
