Taking part in a trail run is a way to truly challenge both body and mind. From uneven terrain to ever-changing landscapes, these kind of events push physical limits while promoting resilience and endurance. The HiroshimaTrail Run is one such event, and takes place on a loop-style mountain trail adjacent to the city.
The 100 kilometer course has a cumulative altitude of approximately 6,900 meters, and participants run both day and night to try and reach the finish within the 34 hour time limit.
