What a colorful lion!

A special stage for Chinese Lion Dance was set inside Minato-koen Park

This lion is completely different from the Japanese traditional one that bit my head when I was a child!

A young boy watching the lion dance from his father's shoulders stirred my half-forgotten memories

The lion dance climaxed with a loud bang!

Chinatown's Suzaku Gate, which faces Minato-koen Park, is said to invite fire

Perhaps the four lions are tired of dancing?

It was close to 10 P.M., the lights-off time! An announcement urged spectators to hurry up and take final photos.

２０１５年２月２１日長崎ランタン・フェスティバルのメイン会場とも云える新地中華街会場、湊公園ステージでの中国獅子達の円舞。

この色彩感豊かで人懐っこそうに見える獅子達。どこか親近感を覚える！幼少の頃、恐怖感を覚えながら、頭を噛んでもらった時の遠い昔の記憶を手繰り寄せた。同じ獅子でも国が異なると、こうも違うものか？

　父親の肩でとても興味深く鑑賞している少年の姿を眺めながら、見事な光のモニュメントとランタンの灯りを堪能することが出来た！
