Ginowan Tropical Beach and Park is located just 20 minutes north of Naha and is popular among local residents. The lifeguard patrolled beach is very clean and has great facilities, including showers, toilets, lockers, kiosk, rental office and large undercover gathering tables. There are also rental barbecues and accessories available for those without their own. There are water activities available at the beach, and the neighboring park is equipped with exercise facilities, a jogging track, a playground, a large grass field and ample space to relax in the gardens. To access Ginowan Tropical Beach & Park from Naha, take Route 58 north or the Okinawa Expressway to Nishihara I.C and follow the signs to the Convention Center. Alternatively, take bus numbers: 28, 32, 52, 55, 61, 88, 99, 112, 288 and disembark at the Okinawa Convention center bus stop.
